TECHNICAL DESIGN PHASE
ProMec performs Technical Alignment and consequent Technical bid Evaluation for Machinery (Rotating Equipment) and Packages. Before the Technical Alignment, in some cases a pre-selection is needed and a shortlist of Vendors is prepared.
During this stage the technical documentation necessary for the Issuance for Inquiry and Issuance for Order including:
- Mechanized Data-Sheets prepared using Microsoft Excel or Word as applicable.
- Material Requisitions & Inspection Data Sheets.
- Technical Bid Evaluations & Cost Estimations.
If required ProMec can directly manage technical communications with Vendors during TBE and provide support to Client’s Purchase Office. Vendor’s offers will be aligned in accordance with project specifications and Client’s requirements, a detailed Supply Specification report including Deviation List will be produced at the end of this stage.
ProMec performs the Control, Review and Approval of Vendor’s documents according to technical documentation approved during the design phase, including project standards and specifications.
If required ProMec can directly manage contacts with Suppliers during the Follow-Up phase and provide a technical interface between Clients and Suppliers in order to swiftly solve every possible technical or procedural issue.
ProMec can also provide Focal-Point activities in support of all the others Technical Departments involved in the project: Process, Piping, Instrument & Automation, Construction in order to focus the diverse necessities of all sectors towards a solution commonly agreed.
